Yes I am for Mike Huckabee for President.  He is a social concervative, Pro-Life. He is for main street not Wall Street.  He is a good person.

Hi,  The three people who matched me on 12 markers have fallen away on the 25 markers.

I now have an Edwards that matches me very closely. He would be my relative.  I have pictures from him, and we do look like the same family.

I now have three distant relatives that match me perfectly on my y DNA for 12 Markers. Two of these men have the same surname. I am not one of them. I am happy for them, and I am looking forward to a time when I will have a 12 marker surname match also. The third person has not emailed me yet. The four of us have been tested in the last year. So there is hope for more to show up in the future.

I am an mt haplogroup H. Sometimes called the Clan of Hellena. My direct female ancestor spent the last ice age somewhere around the border of France and Spain. My markers are only three off of the cambridge standand set of markers. I have found two ladies so far who are only one marker away from me. One came from County Down in N. Ireland, and the other came from Germany. I still have not found an exact match on either my direct male or dircect female sides of my family. This is good in a way. When someone does show up on the lists it will most likly have significance. I am related to Prince Phillip, William the III of the U. K., and the last empress of Russia, Queen Victoria, and Marie Antoinette. Yes me and 40 to 50% of the Native European population are also related to them in their direct female mtDNA. The other 50% of native Europeans are related to other royalty on their direct maternal line.

There are still some results to come in, but it looks like we will have to change our idea of being native to Britain before historic times. My type as of now is I1b2a*. This is the (old) I1c. It is called Continental. What it means is that my direct Paternal Ancestor probably entered Britain during historic times (5th century) from the Netherland/North West Germany/Denmark area along with the Angle, Saxon and Jute people. There are still a few SNP’s to come so stay tuned for further revision if needed. I have been getting many close hits in Germany including an Ulrich Ulrich along with many hits in Britain. So this tends to confirm the above.

The kit is on it’s way from Salt Lake City. This is the one that takes about 6 mo. to a year to post, but it is free!

When my mtDna test comes in what will it show. Could my ancestral mother clan be that of Velda of the Basque and Saami of Lapland, or could it be Ursala Clan which is found heavily in Western Britain. Both of these groups relate to y haplogroup I. Or maybe H for Helena, or one of the other groups? We shall see!

Word has just come in that my test has failed. They will try one more time, and then I will need to send in a new sample. I did what they told me to do the first time!
